 WORDS OF THE DAY:-

1) AMALGAMATION: The process; action or result of combining or uniting something.

Example- The theme of this book is an amalgamation of traditional values and modern outlook.


2) SCAPEGOAT: A person who is wrongly blamed for other people's mistakes or wrongdoings, for convenience.

Example- These three students had played the prank, but they made a scapegoat of their friend.


3) EXPEDITION: A journey undertaken by a person or people, with a particular purpose, especially the purpose of exploration, research and sometimes war.

Example- The group went to the Black Forest on an expedition.

  WORDS OF THE DAY:- 1) PERSEVERANCE : Determination to do or achieve something, despite facing difficulties and obstacles. Example - Her perseverance in life helped her come out of depression. 2) IMPISH : Inclined to do mischievous or naughty things for fun. Example - His face clearly gave away the truth of his impish act. 3) PESSIMISM :  Tendency to always see the worse side of things and thinking negatively. Opposite of optimism.
